Babymoon/Vacation Success
Updated: Jul 30

We took a getaway this week to Sheboygan, Wisconsin in anticipation of fall kicking off soon, and with it the arrival of baby #3.
It was short but sweet, filled with special times.
Here are some highlights :
A charming Bed & Breakfast
Birthday dinner for Ryan
Some bump pictures for me
Time with dear friends
Golf day at Whistling Straits for Ryan (which is a big deal in the golf world)
Solo time for me, while Ryan was golfing, that included thrifting, ice cream and getting utterly lost in hundreds of pages of a book.
Beautiful weather
Delicious food
In this season we travel for people more than places, although it's a bonus when both are spectacular! A special thanks to the Maris family for carving time for us and filling our friendship tanks.
Also special thanks to Cuppy (Ryan's mom) and Grandma (My mom) for delighting the children and giving us some alone time before another life transition of newborn season on our horizon. We are SO blessed!
It's also good to add that our ending was quite bumpy. We had crazy delays, a long tired night and a morning arrival instead of an evening one like we expected. It's a good reminder that sometimes things like this come with the territory of travel. These bumps don't take away the fun times, but it's good to remember no matter how you plan, sometimes you have to just roll with the punches. We tried to keep a good attitude and think of the positives (we were together and everyone was safe and healthy.)
Overall, it was a wonderful trip and we are so grateful for healthy bodies, good conversations and time together to celebrate this miracle girl of ours on the way!
Enjoy some pictures of the fun!
Cheers to Making Space For Memories,
Abby
