It’s a new year which means people are buzzing with goals, intentions, dreams and strategies.
If your personality bends this way, what a delightful time of the year it is! Everything feels fresh and full of possibilities.
However, to many January 1 is simply another date on the calendar.
Regardless of where you fall on the “New Year Spectrum” I can guarantee this one action will be a blessing to your year.
Put new scriptures before your eyes.
Whether a simple post-it note, or a pretty printout, get The Word at eyes-gaze.

You get the idea. I go through and refresh “my gaze” by refreshing the scriptures around me.
Pull out some old promises, ask the Lord for new scriptures, or even just google a few based on topics you are seeking The Lord about. There’s no bad scripture! You can’t go wrong here.
Our “intentions and goals” are finicky. They may fade before January 10. But His intentions, His Words are ETERNAL. And in a year of uncertainty, His promises can become anchors of hope, balms of ointment, and fuel for faith that will keep us steady and strong.
Here are some scriptures I’m keeping in-front of my eyes. I recommend taking a 30 min chunk of time to listen to ask the Lord for a scriptures of your own.
I made these simple phone wallpaper on Canva, which is a free resource for basic graphic. Playing around on the website or app to get some scriptures to stand on for the year, may be a fun activity for you to be creative with.
Lamentations 3:21-24
Ephesians 3:20
Psalm 103
Philippians 4:8
Colossians 3:2-3
Isaiah 40:31
All of His promises are yes and amen. May He receive the reward of His sacrifice: Kingdom come on earth, as faithful fruit that remains.
Reading, standing, and speaking scriptures is not just a wishlist for your desires to be met. It’s a way to partner with His heart to see Kingdom come. May your hearts and homes be FLOODED with truth that fuels you with faith.
In His Joy,
Abby
