Learning, Loving, Looking Forward to. #CirklesCheckIn #Fall22

Here in Texas not much feels different, however according to the calendar we are officially in fall!

Tonight is also Rosh Hashanah! So a significant turning of the season indeed!

We are continually in awe of the goodness of God. Another season has come and gone and He has been faithful to us in so many ways. His ways are perfect. We are grateful. Here’s a snapshot of some things we are learning, loving, and looking forward to.

Ryan

  • I’m learning to slow down and focus on being a human BEING. I’ve had times in life where I’ve done a lot and times I’ve done a little and neither of those made a difference. In my level of activity never made life good or bad. My choice to be present and welcome God’s presence in each moment is what adds flavor and riches.

  • I’ve been loving Uncommon podcast with Cody Graves, intentional times with church family, and football season.

  • In the next 3 months I have 7 family and friend birthdays, especially my Abby’s, that is very exciting. Also, two holidays and hopefully any form of colder weather.

Abby

  • The Lord has captured the attention of my heart in a new way this season and I am so grateful. It has, in all honesty, been a season of great grief and great glory. Only in the kingdom of God would those coexist, and that’s the treasure I’m discovering. What a privilege to pour oil, as tears and perfume, with Jesus.

  • I’m loving this album. (The turning by Meredith Mauldin) It’s been a delight! Also this book, which is SO good for every mom. (M is for Mama)

  • I’m looking forward to watching the Lord show up with signs, miracles, and wonders in our family story.

Oliver

  • Oliver is 3.5 and truly growing in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man each day.

  • Oliver has begun preschool homeschool and is thriving!

  • We are in full force “all things boy” pretend play life. If it has a sword, bow and arrow, or “mission” Oliver wants to do it. Our current favorite family pastime play is playing Viking. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Eleanor

  • Eleanor is now two! We had a wonderful time celebrating her with fun at home and lots of strawberries. Here’s a look at some of her fun if you missed it.

  • Eleanor is constantly singing. Currently any and all Mary Poppins, Forever You Are Good, and No One Else are her tunes.

  • Her favorite thing to do is be outside and any time that grants her time on a slide.

I pray a blessing over our fall season ahead. May it be filled with rejoicing in the hand of the Faithful Father!

Blessings,

Abby
